A big pan of stew for the snowy day
Sueko Yasui
Illustrated by Tadao Miyamoto

"Churripu (Tulip) Series" age:3-4
27.9 X 20.7 cm 24pages
First printed in November 1997

On a heavy snowy day, in the rabbit's house, Mother rabbit began to make a huge pan of stew. It was absolutely too much for her family. Did she invite someone on such a snowy day ? No, she didn't. She made it because she wanted to cheer up unexpected guests who were in trouble because of the heavy snow.
At the end of the story we understand that a huge pan of stew is a symbol of her kindness.
The sweet story is perfectly accompanied by Tadao Miyamoto's beautiful and lyrical illustrations.
